It should have an outside temp setting for the heated seats to come on as well. It can be coded to heat or cool dependant on outside temp for any of the 4 seats. No idea why they don't make this a standard feature. It can be set to automatically heat or cool the seats just like the steering wheel.

when i click the button on the steering wheel for heat, it lights up for ~2-3 seconds then shut off. it did start working for about a week not too long ago but has since stopped working again. i went to the dealer and they said it has a faulty element and the wheel would need to be replaced. if theres an easy fix id rather go that route instead
